College Relations

Shaw Industries is very active on many college and university campuses. We employee current students and recent graduates in the following positions:

Co-Op

Current college students participate in programs that allow them to gain valuable experience by working within one of various areas of the Company during a school semester.

Financial Services Trainee

Participates in on-the-job as well as classroom training to learn how to manage the?company's domestic and international business accounts for the residential, commercial, and contract areas. Finance or Economics concentrations or degrees preferred.

HR Trainee

Participates in a rigorous HR training program that includes time in various functional HR departments; Works with a Divisional HR Director on various projects. Human Resources Management or similar degree preferred.

Manufacturing Management Trainee

Participates in a comprehensive training program which includes spending time in various manufacturing areas including extrusion, yarn manufacturing, carpet manufacturing, etc.; Designed to introduce manufacturing techniques, process knowledge and product development. Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Management, Chemical Engineering, or any Textile degree preferred.

Operations Management Trainee

Participates in a comprehensive training program that teaches skills in customer service, inventory control, freight sales, and shipping/receiving procedures. Must be willing to relocate after training period. Operations Management, Transportation, Logistics, or other related degrees preferred. Learn more about our Operations Management Trainee Program.

Sales Trainee
