Shaw's patented finish resists household scuffing and keeps your floor looking better longer. Extremely wear-resistant, the finish is UV-cured polyurethane with aluminum oxide. Products with ScufResist PLATINUM offers up to a Limited Lifetime Wear Warranty that says, "Go ahead and live on your Shaw hardwood floors."

With Epic, Shaw has introduced a breakthrough in flooring: a superior engineered hardwood that is environmentally friendly as well.
EnviroCore?
This is Epic's extremely tough, strong inner core made of recycled wood byproducts for less waste. It makes Epic harder, denser, and greener than comparable solid hardwood flooring and engineered hardwood flooring with softer plywood cores.
Waste reduction through recycling. 99% of EnviroCore's packaging material is diverted from the landfill by being reusable or recyclable. A substantial amount of this packaging also has post-consumer recycled content.
GREENGUARD? Children & Schools certified. Shaw hardwoods meet or exceed GREENGUARD's stringent requirements for low chemical emissions. Shaw is the first flooring manufacturer to earn GREENGUARD certification on its hardwood and laminate products.
