Oftentimes we are drawn to a particular color for a particular reason. In other words, one of my favorite colors is green, any shade of green. Green is linked to so many positives in the color psychology world, environmental, sustainable, nature, down-to-earth and freshness.
For a room-enhancing effect, paint the trim to match the walls. When you eliminate contrast between the walls and other architectural features, you increase the apparent size of the space.
