6 months ago ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC JOB! Joe Garza, our authorized flooring vendor, sold us wonderful waterproof flooring from Shaw Floors at a reasonable price. His staff was courteous and knowledgeable, and the end result was beautiful flooring that has really enhanced the look (and value!) of my house. My Mother was so impressed she's getting her stairs done in the laminate flooring, and has recommended her friends to Joe and Carpets Galore to have flooring done in their house! I highly recommend Carpets Galore to anyone who wants their homes greatly improved with wood/laminate/carpet flooring. Thanks again!

6 months ago (Original review) Those subtle few that have the unfortunate experiences that need to write these reviews is a troubling feeling. I hate saying anything bad or sharing negative thought. But I am so incredibly irritated with this company I downloaded this app just to share my experience. Sure they probably do good most of the time but here's my experience. I spoke with Tom after vigorously searching for the cheapest company to do my stairs. Usually it's this place but I'll share that later on. Anyways after proper measurements and discussion on choosing cat tail for my product ton was on point with his customer service skills and got me a bid. (This was done roughly 6-8 weeks ago) I explained to Tom I was in and out of town constantly due to my job. He fully understood and told me he would save my information and also told me to come in even if he wasn't there and tel them the product and address and 425$ would cover my small 12 stair enclosure. Seemed like a great price and he was really attentive so I agreed and told him I would be back in town several weeks later. I showed up on a Saturday and Tom wasn't there he was out due to someone being sick (I totally understand) but my time is really valuable and short so I asked the other gentlemen (Hispanic salt and pepper hair with a black mustache) to help me. He seemed troubled like he didn't have any time for me but ok I'm a contractor myself I can understand being busy totally cool. He proceeds to tell me to leave and come back just to talk to Tom...... I'm sorry what?!?!? So we can't work together as a team and pull up other contracts?? Makes no sense to me. So I then say wel I have all the physical measurements and Tom told me it's ok to see any of you but tell them that he sent me and this is the material and price even if he wasn't there!!! So I threatened to take my business elsewhere and he sighs and started to halfway look through tons desk to "try to find" my paperwork. He didn't even go through half the stack before he got inpatient with me and said he was sorry but I have to waist my time on another day when ton is here. This lead me to believe he didn't even want to help me. I got irritated and reassured I have the exact measurements and am willing to pay up front and if the measurements were slightly off I can pay the difference. So he said ok and started to take measurements from me. He asked the necessary questions. He got to the part where what am I paying them to put over the carpet at the stairs edge. I told him I was a contractor and I would install my own custom MDF boards over the carpet and he dropped his pen and said what?!? I told him I wasn't paying for them to cap my carpet edging. And Tom agreed to this earlier I don't know why this guy got all upset but he then said he wasn't doing "just the carpet" so since I'm not paying for additional services your going to throw my business out?!?!? Is 400$ not enough money for your commission checks bud???? I got so freaking irritated. And for the owner this isn't your competition, this WAS a 3rd time returning customer who will NOT be using your company for my carpet any longer. Your sales person was a jerk, impatient, and very short with me. He didn't even take the time to properly research my inquiry and wanted to charge me more money then I was even quoted my several other companies. ridiculous. Just plain selfish and ridiculous. (Edited review) After I spoke with Tom again he still came out and I gave them the work. Tom told me 425 and the order came out to 438 or so (due to tax). Tom is a great guy and does great work but I'm still upset the owner didn't apply any discount as she stated she would, and I asked Tom and basically told me it was between me and her..... I'm sorry but it's not my job to talk to your boss to ask her for a discount it's yours buddy..... the guys did a great job can't deny their skill set to apply flooring on my stairs. But the miscommunication and treatment was still sub par. So I gave the extra Star for the apology, but I wasn't given the discount and the order was written more then my quoted price. So that's my update folks. Just be sure to be very clear with them when doing business. Get what you need get them set in a price sign and I'm sure from there they will do ok.
8 months ago Business Owner First as the Owner, I am glad to hear you have used Carpets Galore 3 times. That does say you were happy in the past. Though of course it is very disappointing to see this last experience fell short of our Quality of Customer Service. Jamie who tried to help is Hispanic and was hired for better communication with Hispanics. When you say he seemed troubled.. He probably was, because he didn't fully understand what had transpired with you & Tom. To know him is to know He is the sweetest Man.. I see he tried, but failed due to the language barrier. We have been so busy due to our Prices and Customer Service for over 35 years that somedays its a little over whelming. Im not complaining Carpets Galore is truly Blessed.. Tom was out due to a death and unfortunately these things are unforeseen and resulted in us being under staffed that day. Each Salesman does handle each of their customers from beginning to end. Every customer has the cell phones of their salesman. It sounds as if a call to Tom could have resulted in a better ending. My cell phone number is also listed on our phone recorder for any immediate customer Service. I am very sorry that you were so frustrated. I have spoken to Jamie and he was not aware that he was ever being rude.... If you need any assistance ever with any flooring needs I will be happy to give you an additional discount and have you deal directly with Tom or Greg the Manager... Once again my apologies, Marilyn

6 months ago Really easy transaction. Joe came out to my house with samples, measured the areas to be carpeted, and wrote up a contract that met my budget. He was very knowledgeable and accommodating. Joe asked when I wanted the installation date set for and schedule me for the following week. He went out of his way to make sure I was happy.

Its very discouraging when Hundreds of thousands over 35 years have been very satisfied, and the 1% that went wrong will all take the time to say things that sometimes don't explain the entire story.. 7 months ago A GREAT Big Thank you to Joe, Phillip, Ron, and all the installers from Costco Flooring and Carpets Galore.  Joe and Phillip went above and beyond to meet a tight deadline for carpet and baseboards.  They hand delivered the baseboards personally, to ensure the job was done on time, it was even completed a DAY EARLY. They are true professionals and I would highly recommend them for any of your flooring needs.  Joe and Phillip made the process effortless, by coming into our home and taking the measurements and bringing all the samples!  Job Well Done!

9 months ago Called to get carpet installed, but the person who answered wasn't Professional gave me the run a round and basically implied it wasn't worth it to only lay carpet in one master bedroom. So I just went to lowes (last resort) and at least they were professional and treated me like a customer should be treated. F these guys. Your apology means a lot. Thank you the gentleman who I spoke with was an older man. I will erase the review.
9 months ago Business Owner Sorry to hear that somehow this was mis-communicated.  As the owner I would truly like to know who you spoke to?  After reading your review I called Carpets Galore myself requesting a measure for one bedroom.  It was explained to me as I hope it was to you, that the Installers have a minimum charge and it is sometimes less per yard. We try hard to inform customers all possibilities and all pricing. It can be beneficial to the customer to do more than one room,  many will add a hall or another bedroom.  We have hundreds of remnants so most will come in and purchase stock at a substantial discount.  Lowes charges a measure fee and does not carry remnants. So you would have saved shopping at Carpets Galore.  If you can identify who you may have spoken to I would love to address the issue with the salesman.  For over 33 years I like to say it is our Customer Service that has given us great referral Business. It is upsetting to me when someone is dissatisfied.  If you will ever consider trying us again. Please ask for myself (Marilyn) or Greg the Manager.  Again my apologies for the misunderstanding.

9 months ago Wow! what an awesome service! Joe came in to make measurements of the floor that I wanted laminate on. He carried himself very professionally : introduced himself, handed me his business card, dressed appropriately for the occasion, and spoke with confidence . He exuded knowledge of the business. Most importantly, he gave such an awesome deal for the excellent quality products that I chose. Will definitely do business with him again!

10 months ago When you see one star it really means negative one star. Ill keep it short. First off in our household lives two mid 40's adults without children or pets. We bought mid grade carpet for 4 bedrooms. You would expect carpet with little to no traffic in most of the bedrooms to last 10 years. Not carpet from Carpet Galore, this carpet is so beaten down and cheap you would have thought we were running a hostel out of our home. There are big bubbles running up and down the rooms and nails or staples have been piercing our feet since the beginning. The carpet is cheap and awful, the install is totally pathetic. Spend your hard earned money elsewhere. This is another example of an apathetic Las vegas Company that has thrived from ripping off working class Las vegas locals for years. We deserve better!

11 months ago I took my dad and mom to Carpets Galore this afternoon for a small project. He was in a rush to find some carpet for his rental unit. We met James, and he was absolutely amazing. He helped out my parents, found them a great fit, and then snapped his fingers to ensure that the carpet was installed the next morning! Completely awesome! The selection was vast and their in stock selection was truly impressive. We will be back the next time for our flooring needs. And more importantly, we will be sure to track down James when we walk in the store, and you should as well!

12 months ago Joe came out and did my measurements and estimate. His professionalism and attention to detail was unparalleled in my experiences. He gave me so many tips on other remodeling aspects of my home that I told him I planned on doing. The estimate was a bit outside of my budget, but he told me to come to the store and he would do everything he could to meet my needs. I'm going back today to see if we can find a product for my budget. Even if I decide not to go with Joe and Carpets Galore, I'll still walk away with much more knowledge about carpeting and flooring than I previously had. This is absolutely your all-American "mom and pop" shop!

last year I'm not sure whether I'm going to use Carpets Galore yet, but I had Joe come out for an estimate and was amazed by his professionalism and attention to detail. He gave me many tips, even for things I wasn't going to use him for. I'll update if I do buy from here. The cost was a bit out out of my budget, but Joe said he would do his best to make it work! EDIT: I decided to go with Carpets Galore. Joe found an adequate product in my price range and we've setup an install date for the following week. Will update then. So far, so good!

last year I absolutely loved carpets and galore! A team of true professionals! It was still a bit more than I wanted to pay, but they beat Lowes and home depot. They worked hard to help us find the carpet that matched our needs, and the price included the old carpet and pad hall a way, along with the install. They got our bedroom carpet installed only 2 days after visiting them. The installer was very respectful and nice and the job was done in an hour and a half and it looks amazing! I would recommend carpets and galore for anyone with flooring needs!

last year I had a very good impression when I first started the process, the sales staff was very friendly and helpful at first. I had the salesman come on a Saturday to measure my home and went to the store later that day to pick out the materials and to pay for the job.I had agreed and paid for carpet install in the common places and vinyl in the restroom, kitchen and entrance.I live on the second floor and I asked if that would be a problem and the salesmen (Fred) Said no, I also asked If i needed to move my TV or TV stand and since I was paying extra to move appliances the salesman ( Fred) said no I had scheduled the install for the upcoming Wednesday. Wednesday comes and I have someone at my home waiting for the crew since I am at work. The crew arrives on time but I get a phone call saying they cant install anything and are leaving because it is against their policy to move my tv and it wasn't possible to install the laminate on the second floor. This isn't m first time installing carpet or vinyl in a home that is why i asked the salesman (Fred) if I needed to move the TV ahead of time and if the work I had paid for was possible and he said yes and not to worry that the crew would move the items. So the crew left and I had to call the office and (Fred) was no where to be found. I Spoke with Ron the installation manager and he was very helpful, he said that Fred has misquoted me and that he shouldn't have said I could have the vinyl installed. Ron said I would get a refund for vinyl portion and have a crew install the carpet the next morning. Thursday rolls around again since i have to work I had someone there to wait for the install crew. The crew arrived on time again and installed the carpet. I did not arrive until 9pm that night to realize that the carpet was not installed properly. The edges were not tucked in most areas the carpet was coming up where the tile meets the carpet. Overall it was a very sloppy job ( See photos) I had to take Friday off and go to the office I showed Fred and Ron the photos they said it wasn't done right and they sent an install crew the same day an hour later to make it right ( great customer service). At the end Carpets Galore made things right with the install and even refunded a portion of the install cost ($100).

last year I needed carpet and vinyl for a rental property in Las Vegas. I live out of state and needed to do everything by phone and email. Greg was very helpful, he went to the property himself and measured the day after I called, Wednesday, and had carpet and vinyl installed on the following Friday and Saturday. His cost was almost 50% less then a big box store I had give me a quote for the exact same job. I would highly recommend Greg and Carpets Galore.

last year I needed to have my carpets replaced in a high rise condo which had very strict rules about timing and plans. Joe, my salesperson, was patient and very helpful through the entire process of picking the right carpet, scheduling installation and follow up. After the installation, I was amazed at how great the carpet felt and the detailed installation (I have many odd shapes in the unit). I would highly recommend Carpets Galore to anyone needing flooring. Note: I did not do a comparison with another company, so I have to assume their pricing is competitive. Their selection was incredible though.

last year Great service! We went around town getting quotes at Carpets N More, Home Depot, RC Wiley... and we settled on this place. Granted no one really helped us at Home Depot, we just priced the carpets and etc. So the place was a little hard to find, and it's in the industrial area, but that was fine. Went in and James greeted us and helped us right away. Asked us what we were looking for, and what our budget was. From there he took us straight to the carpet that we can afford (all inclusive, no "but you have to pay extra for the padding/installation" etc). No BS here! Just straight and to the point. First though he did ask us what colors to get an idea of what to get. We ended up getting the Mohawk...for a fairly decent price I think since the other quotes were higher. AND they were going to install it PLUS doing the stairs for under our budget! BIG PLUS! Not only that, but he came to our house to measure the place personally...BEFORE his shift, who would do that? Great customer service. And then he opened shop to get final numbers, and he was still able to get us under our budget (especially since I was wrong on the amount of yards needed) On TOP of that, installed the next day. He did what he had to do to get our move on track! Great customer service, and so far great carpet! No problems and the people who came to install it, very nice as well. It was a two day job and James called to make sure things were on track as he hasn't heard anything which I think was nice to do a follow up call. 5 stars an I would recommend to anyone who needs carpet. If you don't want to BS, he will show you other things not in your budget, but why bother if that's what your budget is. BUT I assume if you want to look at it because you gave a lower budget because everyone wants to save money he would :)

last year I've worked with Tom at carpets galore a few times . Every time I need help , he works with me on my budget and style . Whenever we had questions , he was precise , no bull , straight to the point . I love that there is never a guessing game on what my cost will be or what quality service I would receive . Even at our old house , less than 2 weeks after the new carpet was installed , we spilled some paint. Tom sent his crew out to fix it for us . Always get top notch service.

last year Very happy with the product and service from this company. Added new carpet to assist selling a house. When house was sold, Buyers commented on how nice the carpet accented the rooms. Sean was a great help and the installers were ready to go before the installation time.

last year I do not recommend this company to anyone. The installer was argumentative, rude, and surly. He blew his nose with his fingers (farmer's hanky) and flicked it on the carpet padding. He installed the piece in the dining room with the nap running 180 degrees to the rest of the room so it does not match at all and seem to be from a different roll of carpet as the color is more yellow than the rest of the house. 2 bad seams and a few un-stretched edges too. He ran a thick bead of bright white caulking against the cherry wood stained cabinets. It looked like a racing stripe. Then he argued about removing it. "That's the way I do it" he said. Now the installation manager says it is a manufacturer's problem. The manufacturer did not install it, they did. Doug the second vinyl installer did great work, this is no reflection on him. This is still an open dispute, I will edit the final details when we reach agreement.

last year No pride in their work. 1 year and 40 days later I numerous buckles in the carpet. I called and spoke with Ron, to ask about their warranty for work. Ron looked up my file and called back the following day stating it's past 1 year, we can come out but there is a service fee of $60.00 to come out. take a look because it obviously needs to be stretched out
last year Business Owner Hi Aisha, I was very happy as the owner to see that Ron called you back imedialtley the following day. Customer Service is very important to us. Which Is why we have A rating at The BBB. There seems to be some misunderstanding in your issue of ripples in the Carpet, When Las Vegas Experiences humid weather like we are now. We receive many calls regarding the ripples in the carpet. When the humidity goes away so will the ripples. ( I actually have them too) However if the ripples were caused by dragging furniture they may not. Ripples in a carpet would not be caused by the installation from a Year ago. As a courtesy we will pay for half of the re-stretch, if you think this is still needed after the humidity subsides. (Which is the estimated $60.00 that was quoted) That was not just to inspect the carpet. Please call us if it remains a problem. I believe it will shrink back as our weather improves hopefully soon. You can ask for me If you would like, Im more than happy to always please our loyal customers for over 33 Years! Thank you Marilyn

last year Showroom staff was not helpful but Greg stepped in and did provide good service. The other salesman was so rude....he said "why would you put good carpet in a rental?" Who says that to a potential customer? We do...we have stunning rentals and provide our renters with top of the line finishes, fixtures and flooring. He said that was not a smart idea in a city such as Las Vegas since people are evicited all the time and most never last more than a month in a unit. Is he a carpet salesman or a realtor?? #1) I doubt he is a realtor and #2) All of our tenants have lived in our properties a very long time. The longest being 10 years! I knew what type of padding and product I needed and not one time.did this guy stand up to help me. Like I said Greg did diffuse the situation. Also, the installer is HORRIBLE! He scratched a brand new ceiling fan, damaged several walls and baseboards and even broke a tile. We called the company and no one ever returned our call. Stay away! As a professional interior designer and property manager, I needed some affordable carpet for a rental so I decided to use them for one property as a trial. The hassles and damaged they caused were not worth it. I cut my ties and losses with the repairs and touch up work i had to do at the property. I would never give them my business again. Read the other reviews...they might be great for large complexes with a high turnover but don't use them in your own home or client purposes.
last year Business Owner Ms Rachel, I'm very unhappy to see you did not receive the customer service Carpets Galore has offered to our Customers for over 33 years! The Salesman who asked if you wanted to put in a high end carpet for a rental was actually trying to help you. We stock thousands of yards of rental carpet and when you were choosing a higher end carpet, he wanted to give another possible option. My installation manager Ron has never received a call or complaint regarding your issues. There is another carpet store with a name very similar to ours, is it possible you could of been contacting them? Here at Carpets Galore, the majority of our business is repeat and referrals. I am the only flooring store that list a cell number to reach Me, the Owner. (702) 493-8300. I deeply apologize that sometimes things happen out of my control. last year The installers messed up on a $3,000 job and put the wrong moldings down for my laminate. It ONLY took about 3-4 months for them to come back out only to realize they ordered the wrong color. A month later they came back for their THIRD VISIT with the correct color but after they left I noticed they still used TWO DIFFERENT COLORS!! It's been 7 months since the initial install and it is like pulling teeth to get them back out here to fix their mistake. I don't understand why it's so hard to keep in contact with your customers and make sure the problem gets resolved; they seem very careless and inattentive. I am beyond frustrated with these guys and would never reccommend their services. The installers were rude and neglegant. I could go on in more detail about what a horrible experience this has been but I'll save you the time and just warn you to STAY AWAY!!!!

last year **UPDATE: Post install Worker's (2) showed up at 9:15 am which was in the time James said (9-11am) They got to work right away and were finished by 3pm Workmanship: 9/10 finding two spots where the carpet was cut too short on two stairs, nothing major that can't be fixed Cleanliness: 9.5/10 they did a quick clean up,hauled away all the old padding and carpet nothing major was dirty, no marks on the walls or base boards or anywhere Quality of carpet: well its' brand new so it looks amazing and feels super soft as James said it would Overall: I will be referring as well as calling them back for any future flooring needs So far so good, waiting on the install date ( carpet was ordered) I called around town and even had a few(3) other companies come out and measure, all seemed very high based off the Sqft and people who I know whom just had flooring done, I called Carpets Galore James answered and was willing to give me some idea of cost over the phone, once I was at the location he worked really hard to show me what they have in stock based on my needs/wants. James came out on time to measure and was done with in 20 minutes then He was able to arrange the carpet I want to be delivered over night for an install this week before I move into the home Price: $1000 cheaper for the same quality carpet that other's were quoting me including the Big Box stores like Lowe's and other smaller shop's also his in store quote VS after he measured was very very close Time: Install will happen this week, opposed to every other company saying it was take 7-14 days just to get the carpet in I will update after the install.....

2 years ago I just had my beautiful laminate installed by the guys from carpets galore. James from the store came out and measured and was mindful of my budget. I was able to get a higher quality laminate with pad and still stay on budget. The installation crew where very nice and professional and worked clean. Im so happy. Thanks carpets galore.!!

2 years ago I recommend Carpets Galore to a coworker who is totally dissatisfied with their work so far. The measurements are all wrong and now they have to wait for them to make the corrections. They regret doing business with Carpet Galore considering the amount of money they spent!

2 years ago BOUGHT CARPET ON 04/01/2014. it is now 12/08/2014 and one seam came unglued. John and Ron will have this fixed by 12/13/2014. I live in Pahrump so it is a bit out of their way. I understand that things like glue joints can fail and Carpets Galore chose to repair it quickly with out question. THAT IS GREAT SERVICE AFTER THE SALE. The type of excellent service when it counts the most. Took the stress and worry and threw it out the window and am keeping me a happy person. Don't know about these bad reviews but maybe it has to do with the customer. Some people make for very bad customers and expect/demand the impossible. I used to be in sales and truth be told some customers need to be fired or better yet send them to the competition so they can drain them instead. A little respect goes a long way and cost you nothing. Thank you Carpets Galore for your friendly and knowledgeable service along with getting me a high quality carpet and vinyl floor for my home. A very nice 56 ounce carpet. Nice, thick, and plush. Got a new dog and it really keeps the puppy pee out. makes cleanup a breeze.

Gave the folks not a whole lot of lead time etc. I was having tile pulled out, carpet pulled out...Laminate and carpet installed. It was delayed just a bit so I could get the carpet I wanted. My brother owns a flooring business back east and I always take what he has taught me about using family owned, its always about the quality of the installation and expect that. I told him, these folks went way above and beyond. The wood laminate is gorgeous, carpet on stairs is perfect. These guys were all great from start to finish. I'm heading back there to get the kitchen done now...Thank you guys (I don't know them, another flooring company recommended them, and I was a walk in)..super experience!!!!

3 years ago The guy never came out for the scheduled estimate. I called for a status and was greeted rudely by the employee. Instead of trying to help remedy the situation, he told me there's nothing he can do because it was on a Sunday and to call back tomorrow. Very unprofessional.

Salesman are on a commission basis so they are usually very eager to make a sale... There are two salesman on Sundays, neither know or have spoken to you? I'm hoping you have the wrong store as some confuse us with Carpets n More? Hopefully you are not the individual from the competition who continues to keep giving us bad reviews? However if this actually happened at Carpets Galore, I am very disappointed. I would appreciate your help in identifying who represented Carpets Galore poorly leaving a consumer dissatisfied. 3 years ago I was lead here by the gigantic billboard on Main and Charleston because I was looking for Carpet Barn, which is no longer in business. I needed a large gray 10 ft X 14 ft area rug, which is a size that does not exist in pre made rugs. In order to save money, I wanted to see the remnants carpet only. I had several grays to choose from in various sizes and piles, so that was a good thing! When it was all said and done I paid $374 for the carpet, binding and sales tax. I went in on a Thursday and Jaime was my sales rep. It was very hard for me to understand his thick accent so I may have miss understood him about the details of when my carpet was going to be ready. Because I have a very small car, the only day I could pick it up was on a Saturday when I could borrow someone else's car. Saturday came and they said the carpet was not going to be ready until Monday. After throwing a fit, they said it would be ready in an hour! In the end I got the size, color, price and delivery date that I wanted, I win!

3 years ago I couldn't be happier with their service. I got laminate flooring and carpet. They did a great job in a timely fashion. The floors look awesome. The laminate looks like real wood and everyone is amazed when I tell them it is not real. Ha ha. Maybe I shouldn't. Anyway, I would highly recommend carpets galore.

3 years ago The only reason why this establishment isn't getting a big fat zero star is because the installers are so nice. However, our experience has been nothing but a nightmare since it began. We talked to Fred, the salesman, who came over and took measurements and drew a layout of the two areas we wanted to cover. We were asking for carpet in the living room, and vinyl in the kitchen / dining room / laundry room area. Fred assured us that everything would be done in one day and that he would be sending his best crew to do it because "vinyl is a completely different animal". Fred advised us that the installers would show up on 05.03.2014 before 9am and would be there all day to complete the job. That Friday before the install, Ron (the installer manager) called us to tell us that the installers would be at our home between 9 and 10. Shortly after 10am I called Carpets Galore, and was snapped at by Ron. When I asked what the hold up was, he said that the installers "had to go get some supplies" and basically blew me off. He said they would be there within 45 minutes. They weren't. The installers, Don and Nick, finally showed up to our house a little after noon and didn't proceed to get started until close to 1pm. They told us the reason for the delay was because they had their vinyl roller in a storage shed and had to drive all the way across town to get it. We asked them how long everything was going to take and they told us that the vinyl would take about six hours... the carpet another hour or two. We breathed a sigh of relief, thinking we'd have our house back by no later than 10pm. All of our belongings were outside in the backyard and with grey skies looming, we were anxious to get everything back inside before potential rain ruined it. Unfortunately, the installers weren't done that night. Nor were they done the next night. Here it is five days later and the vinyl still hasn't been completed. When we called to complain on 05.05.2014, Ron again got short with us - telling us that vinyl jobs this big are going to take a long time. When we complained about the speed and the quality of the work that was being done, he gave us a guilt trip - saying he would just go ahead and fire the installation crew because we "don't like them anyway"... and I quote "You want me to fire them? I'll fire them." He was defensive about the situation and said that the crew would be back that night and they *promised* they would have everything done. He even sent out a different installer to complete the carpet portion so the original crew would have their hands free to work exclusively on the vinyl. Obviously the job still isn't done. Not only that, when I was walking the area this morning not only is the job STILL not complete; but there are obvious seams, patch jobs, bubbles, nicks, and ill fitting areas all over the place. The installers have run out of vinyl and are trying to line up scraps to get things to work. I cannot believe that I paid close to $2000 for this crap. The salesman, Fred, is giving us the run-around and Ron just wants to put the blame on us. I wouldn't recommend this business to my worst enemy.

3 years ago Love this place! They were great to work with & had awesome prices. We purchased our carpet on Monday and had it installed Wednesday morning. They gave us a time frame and called 20 minutes before to let us know they were on the way. I would buy from them over and over.

Im glad you are happy now and Yes it is always disappointing to us here at Carpets Galore when issues arise. We try hard to avoid these situations. So needless to say i was not happy that the job took that long. When this happens It costs us not only financially but a Happy Customer which we rely on to be successful. 3 years ago We had tile installed downstairs in our home. Carpets Galore's employees were fantastic throughout the entire process. Best of all, our tile floors look GREAT! There were a few employees who were exceptional and deserve special mention: James (who was very patient with us during the tile selection process), Mike (installation manager), and Omar (who was exceptionally conscientious during the install process and fixing a minor post-walkthrough item). We will definitely use this company again for future flooring needs, and I will let my friends know about the outstanding job that was done by Carpets Galore.

3 years ago This place is the real deal! I walked in Monday on my lunch hour and within 20 minutes, I was on my way back to the office, very pleased with my experience. Tom Waters was my sales professional and he knew his stuff, amazing how quickly he could add up the yardage and he also figured out how to seam one section so I could save some money. (Seriously, ask for him.) I came prepared with room floor plans and measurements, which saved time. Also had a budget and while they had some inexpensive stuff that landlords put into rentals, I wanted a carpet and pad much nicer for my home and Tom helped me to get it within my range and, get this--for half as much as another place quoted for similar stuff. Two days later, the gorgeous new carpet was installed. The installers, a husband/wife team, were fantastic, friendly, very meticulous and cleaned up after the job. Over all, really really happy with the job! Still excited and pleased every time I see and step on my gorgeous new carpet--should have done this years ago. Wish I could name the other place that was very shoddy so you would stay away from those guys, but they have my name and address in file. Basically, do your homework--don't just rely on reviews--if business has been around for a long time (more than 30+ years for Carpets Galore) and if the showroom is organized, the sales people are knowledgeable and professional, and they have Better Business accreditation with a good record, you will get great results. You can check my profile and you'll see that I'm truly a non-biased reviewer and I have no ties to this business. Like I said, this is the real deal.

4 years ago I purchased several thousand dollars of carpeting over a year ago. I had a problem with one of the edges. I spoke to the owner and she had if fixed right away. I appreciate that she really cares to talk to her customers and to make sure they are happy.

4 years ago I am a local in Henderson that utilized Carpets Galore on multiple occasions for all my carpet issues. Once I had an emergency in my office where carpet had been torn by one of my employees and I was able to simply send pictures of the carpet and quickly two carpet pros came out from carpets galore to fix the issue. I have referred multiple family and friends to carpets galore and they loved their quality and service. I refer people to carpets galore without reservation. Also I love that it is a local family business that even beats the prices of the big boxes!!!

4 years ago I have been going to Carpets Galore for over 15 years and they have never been anything but great to me! I have referred dozens of people to the business and all have said they saved thousands and were more than satisfied with the installation. They are extremely professional and always show up on time with qualified workers. Including me when my whole house flooded in Aug. and they were out that day to fix the situation promptly. They are family owned and the best in Vegas.

4 years ago After experiencing a disappointing transaction with HD, I went to Carpets Galore after reading the positive reviews online. Being the owner of rental properties, I have to replace carpet on a fairly regular basis. Marilyn, who is the owner, took the time to explain the benefits of the different types of carpet that needed to go into my home which helped me to make an educated decision. They measured the following day and the carpet was installed on MY schedule, not in 7-10 business days. I couldn't be happier and will use Carpets Galore exclusively in the future.

4 years ago I recommend Carpets Galore whole heartily and I am telling you, you are missing out if you don't use them. The flooring company I used to use went out of business ,as I have seen many other flooring companies fold under. I was looking for a stable, economical and professional flooring store and I heard their commercials stating that " That they beat them all" and they have proven that hands down.. I am all in with Carpets Galore!! I have been purchasing houses and fixing them up for many years and I needed good prices, quick and quality service and the knowledge that comes with being in the business long term. I found Carpets Galore to be able to meet those needs and much more, they are professional, experienced, competent, efficient, and all around great customer service. I have had comments from the purchasers of my homes that the homes looked great and that the loved the flooring, either being wood, tile or carpet, all great reviews. I recently used Carpets Galore for my personal residence and wanted higher end flooring being carpet and tile and had some difficult needs in the house and they were able to accommodate my needs without any problems. I am very very happy with the product and installation. I won’t be using any other flooring companies ever again. I will be referring Carpets Galore to everyone that I know that needs flooring!.

4 years ago Maybe I shouldn't have gone there on a Sunday but if you're open for business you should be ready to do business. I forget the salesmans name but when you walk in the door he sits at the desk to the immediate left. He was rude & incompetent. I think he was also very hungover.This guy seemed like he was trying to do everything he could to keep us from buying $600 worth of outdoor carpeting & he was successful. We left quickly & never looked back. Now we are getting ready to re-carpet our 3000 sq.ft. house and take a wild guess where we WILL NOT be buying our new carpet. I understand this is only one representative of that company,but that's enough for me & because of this guy I do not recommend doing any business with them.

I call customers at random to be sure that their experience at Carpets Galore was a good one. I am proud to say we are the only Family Owned Flooring store for over 31 years here in Las Vegas with the highest rating at the Better Business Bureau, and the State Contractors Board. We take dissatisfied customer very seriously. First let me say that after looking at our security tapes, the salesman that tried to help you was not hungover. He does not drink. He does suffer from MS, however it does not affect his ability to sell. Carpets Galore did not stock out door turf when you came in, that is why he was leading you to try Home Depot or Lowes because they usually stock it in the summer... so It's not that he didn't want to sell you, he was simply advising you where you could get it that day. Out door turf is actually the ONLY product that we send our customers elsewhere to purchase. When it comes to Carpet, Wood, or Tile. We Beat Them All including big box stores when it comes to PRICES, SERVICE, and WARRANTY'S. So I apologize that you feel you were not serviced well. 4 years ago I came here after receiving a recommendation from a carpet cleaning company. When I entered the showroom I was not greeted well. I felt as though I was charged too much for the piece of carpet I purchased. The guy had initially quoted me one price but when he rung me up he charged me another. I will not be back!

I promise you what ever you paid here, is much less than what you would have paid else where.. plz see the Manager John on your next purchase and he will credit you the difference from what you were unhappy about... OUR prices are lower than all the competition including Lowes and Home Depot, WE have the highest rating at the BBB, State Contractors Board, Google reviews and We are on The Honor Roll on Angies List. 5 years ago I recently hired CARPETS GALORE for new carpet in our three upstairs bedrooms and stairway. As an owner of a local residential business I know what I want in my own employees around customers and I expect the same from anyone working on my home when they are around my wife and young kids. The guys who installed our carpet delivered. they were very courteous and professional from start to finish. The finished product was better then we had hoped for. Our overall experience with CARPETS GALORE from the first time we walked in the door of the showroom and worked with the sale people JOHN and LISA to the minute the installers left was flawless and best of all the price did not climb from the initial quote. I will hire them again in the future..

5 years ago Just got my master bedroom and 2 large closets re-carpeted. The price was a bit higher than I expected, but still beat HD, Lowes, and RC Willey. Plus, the carpet was installed within a week where as the others were estimating 3-4 weeks. Fred came out and measured the area for free. He also provided guidance of where the seams would be. Friendly service, easy to deal with, would recommend. I wish the prices were a bit lower though.

5 years ago BEST PRICES IN TOWN BY FAR!!! My husband and I just bought our first home and needed carpet and wood flooring for the whole house. We had a budget to stick to and shopped around. Everyone's prices were so high. I got the exact same carpet and wood flooring for so much less at Carpets Galore. It let me and my husband decorate our home the way we wanted it with VERY affordable prices. Everyone was so friendly at the store and the service was great. 7 years ago You will be sorry. The carpet was shorted. Ended up costing more. Was pieced together. Went weeks with only the pad. Go to Lowes or Home Depot or anywhere else. This place should be out of business.
