6 days ago I am having a hard time getting follow up on carpet that was installed running sideways. A few Peeks employees came to see it and assured me of a resolution, but no follow up. Really dissapointing experience!

last month The summer of 2015 was the summer of carpet shopping for us. We shopped the big stores, wholesalers, local shops, etc. Ended going with Peeks and Bill F. Prices wise, Peeks was very competitive. Bill was able to secure the color and brand of carpet we wanted in an expedited manner which was important as we were expecting the arrival of a baby girl. The install went very well. It took a little longer then they thought since they had to tighten down the sub flooring to address squeeky floors. Installers were professional and carefully moved our furniture.

2 months ago We hired peeks on arapaho and 75 in richardson to redo our floors a few years ago and the experience was so awful and invasive I will spend the rest of my life trying to shut this buisness down. They robbed us, literally. The installation took a few days and sometime during the process they decided to help themselves to my jewelry box and took my grandmother's wedding ring, my class ring, every piece of jewelry my dad ever gave me, everything my husband had ever given me over the past 20 years and an 8,000 original drawing by Mike Giant. I can't tell you which hurts the most. everything had more sentimental value than I've been able to process. I called the police and reported the robbery and left an angry message to peeks. Nothing was ever recovered. The monetary value of what was taken doesn't come near the sentimental loss I've had to endure. I will never be able to recover those items, and it hurts knowing they were the only things of value I had to pass on to my daughter. the only thing that gives me the slightest bit of comfort is costing them buisness. Please don't go to peeks carpet and flooring. It will cost you more than you've ever paid for anything in your life.

2 months ago Peeks Carpet in Richardson off 75 and Arapahoe lost my business during the 5 minutes we were there today. The salesman was incredibly rude and condescending. He was showing us things I repeatedly told him I didn't want and tried to correct me when I told him what I did want. We've been to several title stores during an extensive home remodel project and this was beyond the worst we've encountered. By the way, we wondered when we drove up why the parking lot was completely empty of cars, on a Saturday when they had a "sale sale sale" going on, according to signs in their windows. Now we know why.

last year Do NOT hire Peek's for any kind of flooring needs. Let's be honest...carpet is carpet. So when choosing a company, it really comes down to customer service and professionalism. My interactions with Peek's started out well. The carpet was installed quickly and on time. About a month later, the carpet started bubbling around the edges of the room, so I called them to come repair it, and install a piece of remnant carpet in a closet. Without boring you with all the details, I was shuffled around to 5 different people over the course of a week, with each person knowing "nothing about it, but promising to take care of me", before the installation was scheduled. When they showed up, they did not have the remnant. They did the repair, cutting about six extra inches from around the edge of the room. So I had to rearrange my schedule for the next week for them to install the remnant, which again, turned out to be a nightmare experience, which ended with the manager literally hanging up on me. Both of my installations were done by contractors, not even Peek's employees. If you have the option to choose your flooring from another company, I would do so without hesitation.

2 years ago Peeks representative Ed did a great a great job at my home so we recommended him to my 85 yr old mom. Ed saved my mother $1,275 and did an outstanding job. Didn't have to negotiate at all.

2 years ago We needed to remove the carpet and tile two small upstairs bathroom. The total square footage was 67 square feet. Went to Lowes and was quickly assessed a $16 EPA fee for "possibility of lead paint" and a $35 fee to come out and provide an estimate. The estimator would not provide me a copy of the estimate and was told I would have to get that from Lowes. I then was given so many figures by Lowes, it is hard to believe the two rooms were what I wanted an estimate on. The total cost ran as high as $1200 and it appeared that it could go higher with additional "add ons" as the work progressed. This had the appearance of a "bait and switch" operation with a second party outside of Lowes being involved. We knew something was badly wrong so we headed out for a second opinion and stopped at Peek's Carpet. There we presented our measurements, the same as we had done at Lowes. We picked out a tile and the salesman gave us a firm price right on the spot. It was more than $300 lower than Lowes and perhaps as much as $500 less than Lowes had we let them come. There was no $16 EPA fee and no $35 trip charge for an estimate. The tile was ordered and the installers came just seven days later. Their work was excellent and several have commented how nice the floors look. We are well pleased. Great job at a great price and with honest --and real estimates. This is the way a flooring company should operate.

3 years ago My family and I visited the Frisco, TX location and was treated very rudely and racist by the sales associate today. He literally told us that we should shop somewhere else because they only sold name brand and insinuated we couldn't afford it. This only happened after showing him pictures of our 3400 square foot house and where we wanted to place hardwood on 900 square feet of it. He was totally shocked and immediately started saying condescending statements. I will NEVER EVER shop at this place AGAIN and WARN everyone to stay away from this place.

4 years ago I had a major emergency today. My house is on market, we had a bathroom leak that went undetected all weekend while we were out of town and soaked carpet in adjacent bedroom and stained beyond repair. I called first thing Tuesday morning before store hours and Ed answered the phone and assured me they could help. When I arrived, I was thrilled to see that Bill, who had assisted us over 15 years ago was still there. I arrived about 10:15, picked out a beautiful Kazastan remnant. By 1:30 today my bedroom had a beautiful new floor at under $500. Bill helped us 15 years ago when we moved into our home and now as we ready it to move out - he and his installers were there to assist us in our hour of need. It's great to be able to depend a solid and reputable company such as Peeks. Ask for Bill or Ed - they are top notch in our book.

4 years ago Outstanding Service and Over the Top Knowledge We had a wood floor that had buckled. Other companies had suggested that everything was normal and it was ok to install new wood. We heard from a neighbor that Peeks'had a way to find moisture in the house without tearing things up. Mr. Dykes, General Mgr.,of Peeks is certified as a Infrared Thermologist, and surveyed our home for problems. In about 20 minutes, he found our north wall to be high in moisture. He went outside and found our drainage line dumping directly on to our slab. He gave us the solution to extend the drainage pipe out, beyond the wall, set a dehumidifer up inside, and then he would return for another reading in one week. Subsequently,it finally dried out and we ordered and installed new hardwood from Peeks for our entire first floor. There is no one in Dallas that has the expertise of this company or the service effort that we received.It was truely amazing to see such high tecnology work on something as simple a wood floor.From sales to the final installation, it was a wonderful experience.

4 years ago They were great, no complaints. I went in and purchased 1300 feet of wood. I didn't really know what I was looking for when I went in, the sales people really knew what they were talking about. They steered me in the right direction and got me a nice hickory wood. It was a real easy experience. The prices were very comparable to other outfits that I had shopped. The service and sales team were a lot more involved and in tune.

4 years ago My husband and I cannot thank Bill Ferron of Peek's Flooring for helping us with our flooring needs. When we walked into the store on Saturday afternoon, we told the sales person that we were moving to California and were just there to look at carpet samples. As we floundered to find what we had seen online, Bill came to our rescue. He not only explained the types of carpets available, but also the differences in quality and warranties. Then I asked him about vinyl options for our bathrooms as hardwood floors are not allowed by our HOA. He showed us some incredible alternatives in laminate and vinyl. My husband and I left that day thinking -- Wow, that was a really nice guy who went out of his way to be both helpful and informative. He's a great salesman but more importantly a great person who is helpful -- which as a salesman will ultimately bring Peek's Carpet more business!

8 years ago We made an appt for Peek's to measure and give an estimate, but they showed up over an hour late. They didn't even bother to call or apologize. They definitely lost our business.
