Horrible. Let's start with that. Was in need of some moldings to finish a flooring job I did myself. Spoke to Scott in sales who was great, and super helpful, suggesting I come in to talk through it and get the color matched. Did so, but dealt with Al, who said that he would need some time to look into getting a match. Left my contact details, a sample of my flooring and gave the particulars of the manufacturer and color etc. Fast forward a week and I call Al to see if he has made any progress on it, which he has not. He looks it up again and says he will have it in the store in a few days. Good, right? Wrong. Fast forward another three weeks with no returned call, so I call in again today to see whats going on, give the entire story again and find that again, nothing has been done. Politely told him not to bother ordering it this time. I live within 5 minutes so I wanted to spend my dollars locally. I get that it was a small purchase, but good customer service drives repeat business and customer loyalty. In this case, I was hugely disappointed. I'm going to take my business elsewhere, and would never recommend Nufloors to any of my friends who also own homes in the Coquitlam area.

Their staff went above and beyond to find the last of my discontinued flooring so that I could repair instead of having to replace.
We have kitchen floor installation done by Nufloor was excellent. But when we replace new basement floor also done by Nufloor it turn to terrible experience by only finished 3 weeks the floor bounce up. And we believe two different sub-contractors. We think it will be got flat eventually, but result turn out more worst. We try to ask Nufloor to deal with it and got the answer is your basement too moisture. The thing is our old basement floor was perfectly in 17 years never have any problem until Nuflloor re-do it. Very disappointed for can't get their good customer service to fix the problem they made.

ShuChing Cheng, please note we have no record of your being a Nufloors Coquitlam customer. We take customer service issues very seriously and always respond directly with the customer. Would you please contact the store manager, Niki Jacques, at 604.942.4109 so that we may discuss and learn more about your issue – would be helpful when you call if you could provide your phone number/sales order so we can investigate further. Thank you.
I hire them last month and was a very good experience.
"Very professional, friendly and fast. I would recommend them to anyone and use there services again."
"I paid $1,200.00 to have vinyl plank flooring installed in my family room. I was extremely disappointed to find that in two areas the installers cut a very small piece to finish the flooring at the end. The overall appearance of the floor is cheapened by these 2 small ""patch"" like pieces. Please refer to the second and third photo where it is very evident that the installer miscalculated the layout of the planks (lengths). As a customer, my expectation is that if I paid professional flooring tradespeople to install, then the quality of the work should be reflective of the premium price paid for a professional installation. The installation manager (Gary) of the store where I purchased the flooring came and saw may floor this afternoon. He actually suggested and agreed with me that the plank was probably cut too short. However, he did not apologize for the error nor offer to correct the situation. He simply informed me that it was quite ""normal"" for this type of situation to occur when installing vinyl planks. Later as he was leaving, he very reluctantly offered to replace the small piece in front of the door, but not the other area. I found him to be very unapologetic - someone who probably should not be the ""face"" of your company. The customer service I received from the installation manager of the store was extremely disappointing."
"The Product Consultant was very helpful and patient while I was making up mind about which flooring I should purchase. I was back and forth from the store to my condo several times before I chose something suitable. The installer, was knowledgeable and efficient. He returned a couple of weeks later at my request to check a minor concern I had. I was satisfied with that nothing needed to be done at that time."
Received professional service in all aspects of this purchase. Salesman was knowledgable and most obliging. full disclosure on aspects of the transaction. Timely installation - felt very assured by the quality of the work and attitude of the installers.
"Just had new kitchen flooring (Lino) installed and it was done perfectly and looks great. Installer Ron did a great job, and trustworthy good guy."
Installation crew were efficient and did quite a good job. Steve was great to work with.
Wow, that was a quick response considering most of the emails take weeks to get a response. I guess that's what happens when your being criticized in a public review site. In response to the gaps, they have always been present since day one of the completion of the unit. Your employee has come to the unit multiple times and have never resolved any of the issues. They were always covered up and the issues just come back over time. It's great that your company has been in business for 30 years, but this time company has made really bad impression for me and my young family. Not really surprised with your response since I never even talked you before personally, but just disappointed.
Thank you for your review Richard. As the gapping in your floor was caused by water damage in your unit, and upon Brian taking up the floor in your unit to discover the mold in the affected areas, we happily offered to replace the damaged boards for you, however this would be at your cost because we do not warranty water damage. I think you will find that this is standard industry practice. I have gone back and taken a look at the email thread from all parties involved, and it appears the warranty manager, and development manager agreed with Nufloors, in that the gapping was caused by a leak in both the toilet and the fridge. I am happy to discuss this with you, if you would like to call or come in and see me and we can take a look at all the correspondence from 2 years ago when this occurred. We at Nufloors stand behind everything we do, we have for 30 years, with full warranty in an installation or product deficiency. However, water damage would be replaced at your cost. We have worked with the developer of your townhouse for over 25 years and have a long standing relationship built off of trust and loyalty, 2 things which come from taking care of each and every issue we encounter. I am available at any time to discuss this further. Niki Jacques President Nufloors Coquitlam
Choosing the right hardwood flooring was so important and receiving a description of all the choices was helpful in making my decision. I did go with something more expensive than planned but am very happy with the results. The 2 installers were professional and responded to my questions. They were efficient and completed all aspects of the jobs in a very timely manner from levelling to cutting and fitting the boards. It looks wonderful. I do find that the engineered floor seems to mark more easily than the hardwood planks I had in my other home.
we changed the bathroom floor and it was very good .
"I am a retired (Institutional) Project Manager so know good material from bad and good work from poor. I was totally satisfied with all aspect of the product selected, the selection procedure and the installation (Art & Annie's) work Material arrived as promised. Single dye lot as I requested, good value for the carpet and underlay we selected. Installers were on time, professional, polite, clean and quick. We have another project planned for next year and will be asking for the same sales and installation team again."
The floor was Installed just before Xmas. Grouted vinyl tile.
"However, we are experiencing a couple of squeeky boards on the flooring in the bedoom."
"I have used Nufloors to install hardwood floors in 2 locations over the last year. Both installations were very professional - a smooth experience. Al Dick was super helpful on selecting the flooring to meet our needs, and the installers were professional."
Niki was extremely helpful during our home renovation. I couldn't be happier with our new laminate floors and marble backsplash. Thanks so much.
The sales advice and the professional consultive selling was excellent help in letting us make the right choices. The install team was one of the best I have ever had do any work for me.
Everything went according to plan. The product arrived as scheduled. The installer worked without affecting other trades that were present.
Very happy withe the selection and sevice I received for the installation of high end lanoleum flooring. Far superior to the big box retailers.
"I was very happy with the whole project from start (selection, measuring and installation was very professional. Will use Nufloors in the future."
"Twice I requested an e-mail copy of our invoice. Twice our invoice was snail mailed to the job site address so I never received it. We chose this flooring as it was immediately available, though more expensive. We had to drive out to Annacis Island to pick it up. It wasn't ready, we had to come back after the weekend."
We choose Nufloors Coquitlam to install laminate flooring in our new place. From the time we walked in to today the service of the staff and also the installation has been nothing but excellent. When we do the rest of our place we would not choose any other place but Nufloors.
Mark from NuFloors Coquitlam is a master of all of his products! His knowledge and expertise helps guide you through the decision process with ease.. Always willing to help and his consistent excellent service is why I keep returning to him!! Thank you Mark!
This is the third time we have used Nufloors Coquitlam in the past couple of years...this time for carpet. We received great service and recommendations from Niki and the entire team. The install was professionally booked and on time. The install person did a great job and we couldn't be happier with our new flooring.
"This is the second time we have used NuFloors do an install for us. From ordering to having the flooring laid, there was great service. The final result was impressive."
I used them 2 months before and I am so happy to use them.
"The service was excellent from my first contact while choosing our flooring, to the on time, hardworking, considerate fellow who put in our floors. The end result was excellent. I really appreciated the care taken in putting in the flooring around the uneven edges of our fireplace hearth. I take great joy in looking at our new flooring daily. We will be return customers."
I received amazing service from the moment I walked into the store until the day my hardwood was installed.....couldn't be more satisfied!
Dick was very accommodating. Installers did a good job
"Spending $10,000 is not something I take lightly or do every day. Nikki helped me through the process from sorting through the endless options and samples, to coming out for a measure, arranging dates, following up during the installation and afterward. In other words, from start to finish. I struggled with what to do with the center staircase. It was in carpet that needed replacing but I wasn't keen on wood steps from a safety point given we have young grandchildren. Nikki suggested new carpet on the stairs and the wood risers since the wood is what you see from the bottom looking up. Perfect! I The installation crew of three arrived promptly when promised, were neat and tidy and hard working. When they left for the day, the house was as neat and tidy as could be given the fact that the floors and tiles had been removed. The torn out old carpet, flooring and tiles were taken away, subfloors were vacuumed to keep dust to a minimum. While it is a near new house, no floor is perfectly level and the crew showed me how much it was 'out' and thus the need for the self leveling compound. After they poured the compound, they took the time to show me the empty bags and count them so I knew exactly how many I would be charged for; very thorough and transparent. I painted the quarter round outside and they installed it. If you decide to go this route, remember not to let ANY paint drip on the back side (they did warn me beforehand) as it means it doesn't fit snug up against the wall and there was a temporary squeak in parts when we walked on the floor. That has since disappeared as the paint dried and shrank. I recommend using NuFloors for professional service, excellent product and workmenship. I recommend using this company for excellent customer service before, during and after."
"I was working on a very small budget and had an ugly renovation to complete. Nu-Floors not only had a quality flooring for a very good low price, they managed to level the old floor, cover up the ugly and make the home look fantastic!"
"We just had our front porch done in slate. There were a couple of issues with the job at first and we thought we might be in trouble getting them corrected but to our surprise, not only did they correct the issues, they did it with an attitude that they must make it right. We are very happy with the final results and will be glad to do more business with Nufloors."
"My salesperson Scott was fantastic. Everything went exactly as promised. Installation was perfect. Not the cheapest, but worth it."
"great selection, great service, as always ..........."
The engineered hardwood bought from this store is exceptional. So many compliments on it so far. It was a good price. Cypress has of assistance and helped us with all of our questions. Glad to have made the purchase here.

Dear Nufloors Coquitlam: are you aware that you are co-sponsoring the upcoming Port Moody Ribfest with American multi-national company Kinder Morgan. Does this mean that Nufloors is in favour of Kinder Morgan's proposed pipeline expansion into the Lower Mainland? What about your clients? Are they also not members of the solid majority of Lower Mainland residents who staunchly oppose this expansion that would ship the world's dirtiest oil into our neighbourhoods? Kinder Morganhas no social licence in British Columbia nor should it permitted to sponsor any types of community events. The mayors of Vancouver, Burnaby, New Westminster, City of North Vancouver, Victoria, Squamish, and Bowen Island have signed a declaration that pushes the federal government to put the Kinder Morgan pipeline proposal on hold. Thank you for your time and have a great summer.

Hi Benoit…While we are aware of our co-sponsors, we chose to sponsor this family event, as the Port Moody Rotary is the group organizing it. Rotary has a history of doing fantastic work in our community. We are a locally owned and operated business who has a history of giving back to the community for the last 29 years. Being affiliated with other sponsors is not a reflection as to whether we do or do not support what they do. While we absolutely support the political process, Nufloors does not participate in any political views nor are we for any political party. In reviewing the sponsor list, we see lots of local businesses that go above and beyond in terms of giving back to the Tri-Cities. To us this sponsorship was meant to support the good work of the Port Moody Rotary and be apart of an event that provides three days of BBQ, Free Live Music, Craft Breweries and entertainment for the whole family. We see that kind of community building as something that is good for all of us. Thanks.

You are absolutely right and I hope Ribfest is a success. It's just a shame a company like Kinder Morgan, which has such a poor and divisive profile, was invited to share the spotlight. All the best and have a good summer...

I would like to thank Kerry, Gary and all involved in the repair to my mothers lino. Nufloors did not install the floor which we think is about 5 years old...it was done by End of the Roll. After 5 calls to End of Roll and no follow-up calls back to me...we gave up. We called Nufloors in Coquitlam and explained our problem...long story short....they were more than happy to do the job and did it within 7 days of contacting them!!! Way to go Nufloors. Word of mouth is the best...too bad EOTR. We will refer Nufloors to anyone asking us about flooring and installations. Thanks again. Smiths and Anderson.

I've been here a couple of times to look for flooring. They have a good selection and they even introduced me to some neat new flooring materials that really met my needs. Their customer service is okay - a little disorganized at times but not bad. What I didn't like about my last visit and purchase is the salesperson who helped me. This particular salesperson came across as a little dishonest to me. He was a smooth talker and all that but I don't think I'll go back. I had called store to ask if they had a particular product... they guy on the phone said yes and told me the price. I went in to get a sample and again was told the price (which was the same price as what the guy on the phone said). After I determined it was the right flooring for me, I called the salesperson on the phone so he could get my order read - and again, I confirmed the price. I went into the store and while the salesperson was putting my purchase through, I was surprised to hear that my invoice total was double what I was expecting. I asked for clarification a few times and he insisted he was calculating it correctly... Finally I said that the total cannot be correct for the quantity I was buying at the quoted price (which was verified to me at least 3 times by 2 different people). The salesman said he would adjust it even though it was the wrong price... he was "smooth" and tried to make it seem like I had it wrong but he was doing me a favour. He said if that's what I said he said (and the guy on the phone) - then he would adjust it and give it to me at half the price even if it meant taking a loss... Kinda like a "used car salesman" to me. I was not impressed. He almost had me questioning my own math calculations in my head! He seemed dishonest and a little manipulative. If I had not spoken up and questioned the pricing, I would have walked out paying double what I was supposed to. I doubt I will be returning. I have dealt with Jordan's flooring on United Blvd and had a much more pleasant experience there.
