last month I have worked with BFC on multiple projects and have always had an amazing experience. Staff are professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. The product selection and quality is unmatched in Edmonton.

12 months ago Bad experience with customer service. I would agree with most of the comments on here. Its almost as if they are doing you a favor by selling stuff to you. Walked in to the store, spent almost 20 minutes looking around, nobody had the time to speak with us so we walked right out. I sometimes wonder how such establishments stay in business. But its all a matter of alliances and contracts. They have contracts with builders and the builders don't give customers any choice except to go with their preferred contractor so they have to go there regardless of the level of customer service. Its sort of you scratch my back I scratch your back type of thing. Almost all businesses are like that here. If they businesses were to cater to individual customers on their own, the types of BFC would be out of business a long time ago. I would not recommend this store to anyone.
last year We are truly disappointed at the poor experience you describe regarding your last visit. Our folks do their best to address all of our customers. However, there are times when the customers outnumber our sales staff. We will be reviewing how to respond to those difficult situations with our employees at our next sales meeting. 12 months ago We are very impressed with BFC. The staff’s product knowledge is exceptional and the overall service has been excellent. The product selection at BFC is extensive and very relevant for today’s client. We will most certainly be using BFC on our next project.

last year Poor service almost have to beg someone to try to sell you something. Pricing is also way out to lunch was quoted 40 percent less for the exact same flooring, part number matched at the store across the parking lot. The only they have going for them is a good selection of samples to view.

3 years ago With all the renos we've been doing, new carpet had to be put in on the entire upstairs and the stairway. After shopping around and getting a few quotes, we realized that the same carpet is going to cost roughly the same amount at any place you go. As for pricing, one place isn't going to be much better than the next, so it comes down to how good the contractor is who does the installation. The carpet is what it is, but how it is installed can make all the difference. We finally decided on BFC because they gave us solid dates for installation and a solid guarantee that we would be satisfied with how the work was done. In the end, we were quite happy with the installation. Our complicated staricase looked fine (that was our biggest concern) and the worker did a nice job of cleaning up after he was done - a two day job. What I can't believe is that this guy did the entire job by himself(!?!?). I wasn't home, so I didn't see how he hauled those giant rolls of carpet up a flight of stairs, and hauled the old stuff down...all by himself! It's been about a month since the installation and so far, it's all holdling together and looks great.

5 years ago The service from this store was very poor. Our salesman even told us it was best to go with them as they offer second to none service. Believe me it wasn't. From the salesman not coming through with promises and ordering the wrong product to installers taking double the time, not showing up, not completing the job, having to make 3 trips and still not completing the job to product not be installed properly at all. We received quotes stating what would be ordered and still didn't get what we agreed to. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. And lets be honest, they carry the same products that every other flooring store has.

5 years ago BFC has a very nice showroom, but we should have known from the beginning that the service would be poor. The salesman on the floor seemed annoyed at having to help us find the tile we were looking for. Then, after the floor was installed(an engineered hardwood), a small section popped up almost immediately. Instead of standing by their work, BFC has given us the run-around, promising to send someone out, then never calling back. This has gone on for months. Even the president of the company ended a call by promising to call back, though he never did. If the president of the company doesn't take a complaint seriously, who will? I don't recommend anyone use them if they can avoid it. Customer service is deifnitely not a priority for them.
