Always a great experience. If a friend or customer asks and is interested in good customer service, I ALWAYS recommend they shop here first.

5 months ago As a former Grand Forks resident I'd just like to mention the great service, care and attention to detail shown to myself and customers that Weivoda Carpet Girl consistently demonstrates. I put myself through UND working construction, and I saw lots of customer/vendor interactions-some very good, (like Weivoda showed), some not so much unfortunately. In addition to the great service, the flooring crew always performed super nice installs, and I could tell that the Weivoda team had done the walk-in shower tile work by looking at the ceiling-always caulked with the correct matching color!! ...anyway if I didn't live in the Minneapolis right now I would shop there and have their great crew help me out!!

5 months ago They are a professional company who cares about their customers. They are experts in their field and were very helpful in picking the right flooring for us. I have been very pleased with my purchase, the carpet is good quality and the service was excellent.

5 months ago They are great people that are very helpful and trustworthy. The prices were average 1 dollar cheaper per square foot compared to their competitors like carpet garage! I was blown away, it's great to see small family owned businesses with people you can trust. I definitely will give them my business in the future and recommend them to friends and family!

5 months ago It was a great experience to work with great people who were all related, running a family owned business. I checked out prices at some of the local flooring businesses to get hardwood flooring in my home. They were on average a dollar cheaper per square foot on the styles I was looking at, compared to Carpet Garage. I went with an installer they recommended and they delivered the product and had it finished the next day. I'd definitely go back to them for my next little project and recommend them to friends and family!

5 months ago If your working on a new house or remodel project call ahead even if your on the way over- a decorator will schedule the design room and work one on one with you. The gals there really love to pull options to put whole houses together.

12 months ago Excellent Customer service and workmanship! "In the middle of September 2016 we decided to install stressed flooring in our living room, dining room and my office. We were afraid that we would not be able to match the flooring that had been installed in the kitchen and hallway so after checking around we called the builder of our home (Infinity) and asked him where it came from. Weivoda was the answer. We drove to Weivoda and met with Laura Harmon who informed us that she not only had the flooring but also the floor plans for our home so there would be no need to come out and measure. She worked diligently with us to give us the best price possible and still provide what we wanted. When the flooring came in and a date was set for installation (they said three days) Chris Yodsnukis came out and began the installation. To say we were impressed is an understatement. The first day saw my office, the dining room and the beginnings of the living room completed. My office was the important part as I work from home full time and working from the kitchen counter just was not cutting it! By noon that second day my flooring was complete! Chris even repaired a small area of molding at the bottom of my stairs when I asked. Talk about customer service and a smile to boot!! We love our new floors and the wonderful service we received from Weivoda. So-much-so that when we do the upstairs next year that is exactly where we will be going back to! Thank you Laura and Chris for making this such a wonderful experience!!!"

From the moment we walked through the door Laura, the sales rep, gave us the best experience we have ever had. She was helpful and patient with us and answered all of questions along the way. The quality of our new flooring is amazing and we have no doubt that it will last a VERY long time. There is no doubt that Weivoda Carpet Girl is the best in town!"

last year Great Service We built a new house and the builder asked that we work with Weivoda. We did and received excellent service from Laura. She made great suggestions and gave us freedom to choose without being overly insistent that we go with her ideas. The only thing I didn't like was a breakdown on our bid as to what everything was individually.

last year If giving zero stars was a option, I would give that. We begin our flooring project paying approximately 75% of the balance and agreeing to pay the remaining when the process was complete. We were also told before the process begin they'd cover things and clean up at the end of every day. Laura assured us the contractors knew we'd be living there, and their tools, saws, etc would be outside. Things weren't covered, and their tools and saws were in our garage...We have small children, and would find nails laying around. They also gave us the wrong pricing for the flooring we ordered, and told us the boards come in various lengths. When in fact they they were all the same length boards and higher priced than we were told. We had dents, nicks, scraps, holes, etc. in our cabinets and walls from flooring being installed. Asking them to fix this appeared to be an inconvenience, our phone calls and emails were avoided. When they did come to evaluate the damage Laura immediately asked for the remaining balance per 'company policy'. We were not comfortable doing this and our agreement was to pay when the project was complete. She said she would call me later that day to okay this with a manager, and also call Monday to arrange for them to come Wednesday for the fixes. We received none of these calls & nobody came to fix anything Wednesday. Wednesday afternoon we receive a call saying they're coming Thursday. No apologizes for anything, even after I bring up my concerns. Laura told me they've been in business for 30 years and they're a trustworthy company. Thursday they fix portions of the problems, and refused to leave our home without payment. They sat at our home, would not leave without a check. I had to leave work and give them a check. I told Mark (owner of Constructive Building Solutions) our concerns with their level of customer service and his response was 'this is how we do business'. So just know, if you're going into business with this company , this is the service you'll get. After all, he said it himself.

5 months ago So if a Toyota dealership sold you a car that had a accelerator pedal sticking that was happening in that same model all over the country. You would attack and blame that local dealer and not the manufacturer? That's why manufacturers have warranties on their products.

5 months ago Clearly your letting your emotions take control of the situation. If you ran a small business and it was on the giant manufacturer that messed it up. Why would it be you and every other small business owner to pay for the big manufacturer. That isn't right. If you would've purchased a product with at least a 20 year warranty this wouldn't have been an issue. Sorry that this unfortunately happened to you, but you have to see who is really to blame. Everyone probably sold that product.
5 months ago Well, sir, you seem to like to talk down to me as if you think you are superior to me. In fact I DO run a small business....3 of them in fact! I bust my tail on a daily basis in order to EXCEED my customers' expectations. In fact, I GROW THE FOOD YOU EAT! I worked 18 hour days for weeks on end to pay for that FAULTY FLOORING! In my own businesses, I would never DREAM of giving a customer anything less than 100%. Now kindly move on and go talk down to someone who actually wants to listen to your nonsense!

9 years ago Great Selection I loved that Weivoda had such a large selection and that most of the carpet was in the warehouse. We needed carpet and were in a time crunch so all we had to do was pick it out and take it home.
