I didn't want to leave a bad review and mess up your rating. I came in there with my husband, infant, and 3 year old yesterday evening. I spoke with someone, who was very nice, on the phone the day before. We talked about how my home burnt to the ground, and how my new home was nothing but plywood. He was extremely nice. I was told to come on in, that we'd be helped in any way that we could be. I came in with my family and right from the start felt unwelcomed. An older man, Tim Reed I think was the name on the card, walked up to us. We tried to make small talk about y'alls Nativity scene, which was beautiful by the way, and he never said a word to us. He just asked what we needed. I tried to explain to him our situation, how our insurance policy wasnt the best, how we had to use every penny of our personal property payout to get our new home, and wanted to know what sales y'all had. He wouldn't let me speak to him face to face, he just started walking to the back room. He asked what size we needed, I asked him to give me a second so I could get the picture of my floor plan pulled up. He then spent the next couple of minutes telling me we couldn't figure it out based off pictures. We tried to explain I had the actual documentation saved on my phone, but her wouldn't listen. At that point, I was so uncomfortable, I let my husband deal with it and just walked over by the door in the back room and waited. My husband was very polite, looked through everything the man showed him, and said thank you and we will figure something out. They started out the door, he did offer my little guy a toy, but there was tension I was feeling off my husband. When we got to the car, he told me he asked what kind of prices they could help us with. The man responded to him with, come back when we had our money together. It was extremely offensive, he just assumed we were in there looking for a hand out. We had money in hand to offer, but he didn't take the time to connect with us. We felt like a burden the entire time and was somewhat shocked to be treated this way by an establishment based on Christianity. We came to y'all because you are supposed to be a Christian based store and we loved that, but we didn't feel like we were treated right. Anyway, as I said in the beginning, I didn't want to leave this on your review page and mess anything up over one experience. However, we do not feel that we will come back. It was a long drive from Marion to your store to be treated that way, and after all we have been through, it was a real shock and a let down.
