Good selection but could do a little better job of volunteering information on different tile and carpet choices.

Per my Grandmother's request: We would like to thank Bob Molsick, owner of Floormasters of Wildwood Florida, for replacing my brand new carpet that was damaged by my sweeper. Floormasters ordered new carpet, at their expense, and installed it. Thanks to Mike, Chris, and Bill, the installation crew that did a fantastic job! Floormasters is a reliable company that stands behind their work and products. I would recommend Floormasters. -- Myrna B.

The install of flooring was the worst. People in charge will not return calls or follow up with customers concerns. I have been waiting over 2 weeks for Tom the manager to step up to the plate . All I get is the run around. So sad. Do not buy from this company. Going on almost 4 months. Now company is sending people out to Rip up floor and closing joints. I asked installers why this was not done to begin with. Their answer was it was not written on sale receipt. GIVE ME BACK MY MONEY. THIS COMPANY IS THE WORST.

Mrs Knox was a very difficult customer who complained about numerous items. Our service guys went out to her home on at least 10 separate occasions to address her numerous and varying complaints. Most were unfounded. She claimed we did not put any pad under her laminate. The laminate had pad attached and absolutely was under her laminate. With all laminate that has pad attached, we also lay plastic visqueen over the concrete slab under the laminate with the pad as it acts as a moisture barrier as excessive moisture coming thru a slab can be detrimental to laminate. She then claimed that we did not put any visqueen under the laminate. We went over and pulled laminate boards up to show here that there was pad attached to the laminate and that the visqueen was there. She then complained that she couldn't clean the floor, that it left streaks when she used her swifter. We could see the marks. They were left by the pad she had on her swifter. The pad on her swifter had "bunched up" and had creases on it where part of the pad folded over. That was causing the streaks. She did not believe us and we brought a different pad and showed her that it did not leave streaks. She also complained that the boards "creaked" too much when she walked on them in certain places. The creaking was minimal, but since it bothered her, we offered to take her floor apart and glued the ends of each plank at great expense to FloorMasters. This is a known solution to creaking issues that Armstrong laminates sometimes have. She did not want us to do this. The bottom line was that she did not like the product after it was installed and wanted something different. When we let her know that there was nothing wrong with her product and that we had a solution to the creaking that bothered her, she finally agreed to allow us to do this. The phone calls that were not returned were made to our Sales Managers cell phone on a Saturday evening between 5 and 8 pm. He called her back on the following Monday. FloorMasters has had over 37,500 transactions in the last 12+ years. The overwhelming majority, over 99.9% have had no issues with our customers. We always go above and beyond when dealing with any customer complaint, even if unfounded.
Good and knowledgeable service. Looking forward to working with them.
Love my Tile! But the workman ship needed A lot of help. First installer missed putting grout down on most of floor. Came back to regrout ... grout was different color. Then had 3 professional come and looked at work. All three agreed the job was a mess. Only way to fix walls were to put 1/4 round down to hide all mistakes alone wall and needed to replace many tiles. New insulted came out and chipped up and installed new tile. I can show you everyone he replaced. Told him I think they are not correct tiles! He shout me up by telling me it was our own tile from our garage. They ordered to replacement tile and did not use ours. That took them three days to do the replacement tiles. Now we wait for the carpenter to come put down 1/4 round. Order paint to match walls and order 1/4 round from cabinet company to match kitchen cabinets. Took them three days to put 1/4 round down. After painting and caulking around that's finished. But he used White caulking around door jams on brown tile. Had to come back out chip up all white caulking and replace with brown grout to match floor. Now we have any other gentlemen come and try to match all grout the same color (4) days. It is impossible to get any messages to owner or anyone that is willing to help. Have called several times this week and husband stop in to get Scott to call us back... I call again this am, he gone already for the day and doesn't answer his phone while one a job..funny he did the month he was working in my home. P.S. he called me back- never go one phone message that we were trying to contact him. Salesman never called after the job was finished to check to see if we were satisfied. Very unprofessional employees..

FloorMasters used a new installer on this job and his workmanship was not up to our standards. He was immediately terminated from working for FloorMasters. As FloorMasters guarantees its work, all of the customer's issues were addressed and corrected to her satisfaction. The owner went out when all work was completed to make sure all the work was up to professional standards and that she was satisfied with the work. The work was fine, she was given a small refund and a Bonefish gift card for the extra trouble she went through. While she said the work now was fine, she still was not happy with the ordeal. With retirements and growth, we need to hire new installers from time to time. Even though we check their references and prior work, we still sometimes get mediocre to bad installers. When it happens, we absolutely back up our work and rectify the problems even if it means we have to tear out the entire job and do it all over again and considerable cost to FloorMasters. Fortunately, most of our installers have been with us for many years, some since we opened our retail store over 12 years ago. FloorMasters has had over 37,500 transactions in the last 12+ years. The overwhelming majority, over 99.9% have had no issues with our customers. We always go above and beyond when dealing with any customer complaint, even if unfounded.
The prices for the material and installation appeared to be better than most of the local tile retailers. I am not very happy with the sales staff or the installation. I purchased tile for my entire house and wanted large tiles and with a grout joint of 1/8 inch. I chose 20 inch tiles and the sales manager insured me that I could have thin, 1/8 inch, grout lines with these tiles. The tile installer informed me that these tiles require 1/4 inch because of the variation in the tile which could be as much as 1/16. Not sure why the sale manager told me that - either he does not understand the product, or he told me what I wanted to hear so he could make the sale, or the installer was wrong. Since my understanding is that the tile was not refundable, I went with what I had and used the wider grout joints. If I would of known that up front, I would of chose a different tile to get the look that I wanted - but would the sales manager give me the correct answer. The sales manager told me the installation time would be about 3-4 days. Since I was doing the whole house, I expected a small crew of installers to handle this job within this time frame. Not sure why he told me this since the installers he assigned to my job was a guy and his wife. The total time was more than a week and a half. It was tough living in the house during this time. The installers typically worked between 4 - 6 hours in a day. I also moved most of the small furniture myself and helped with some of the larger stuff. I had a tile that was much higher than the adjacent tiles by 1/8 inch. I called on Monday the the sales manager said that it would be fixed on Wednesday. I sat home all day waiting and the installer did not come. No one called to let me know. I called the following day and left a message, called again the next day and left a message, 2 more times the following day and left messages, and then 2 more times the following Monday. No one ever called me back or acknowledged my calls - all I wanted to know when were they going to fix that tile. I finally talked to another person in the office who said that she would let the owner know. He did call me back the following day and said he would talk to the sales manager and the installer. He also told me that the installer should have used special spacers/levelers that would allow the tiles to be the same level with the adjacent tiles. I decided to measure the height differences between adjacent tiles and found several that were greater than 1/16 inch. I eventually had the installer replace 6 tiles that were 3/32 inches higher than the adjacent tile - these were in the main open areas that were clearly visible. The installer used a power tool to remove the mortar under the tile. It created so much dust in the house, I had to vacuum the floors, walls, furniture, artwork, wash the bedding, ... took me 2 days. Also, I am not sure if there is a standard in height variations between tiles, but I have many tiles that are around 1/16 inch (plus or minus).

We had Floor Masters re-do our complete flooring. Most of the work was tile installation with a smaller area devoted to carpeting. They worked hard, were very professional, knew their jobs, and we are completely satisfied with their workmanship. Would HIGHLY recommend them!!!

Very unprofessional ownership. My father and I were trying to park at Sams club in ocala and the owner flew over the curbs on the handicap spots and bolted across the lane into our spot. After confronting the owner he made physical threats. I explained how unsafe that was and he replied that he didn't care. I read his "Floormaster" shirt aloud as to remind him that he's a business person at Sams before normal hours. It didn't matter. Very unprofessional person. Embarrassed to know these are some of our local business people.

I am sorry you had this incident. I am the owner of FloorMasters and have never been to the Ocala Sams Club. We have over 50 employees and installers, and another 40 or so installer helpers. All installers and helpers are required to wear FloorMasters t-shirts when working. There are also at least another 100 or so individuals who used to work for us with the same t-shirts out in the market place. We have no way of telling who it was or might have been. I am sorry you had a driving incident with one of our installers/helpers. If you would have contacted us when this happened or the next day with a complete description of the individual and his vehicle, we might have been able to do something (if a current employee) as we do not condone this behavior at any time, and certainly when they are wearing our shirts.

Donna did a fantastic job of listening to our wants and needs for our new kitchen flooring! Lowell and his crew were prompt, neat and efficient when they did the installation and we get lots of compliments on how beautiful the new floor looks. We've highly recommended FloorMasters to family and friends- you won't be disappointed!

There are many carpet and flooring dealers in The Villages and we shopped several, but we chose Floormasters because of their excellent pricing, sales staff, management and installers. The saleswoman's design ideas were right on and the tile installers we used for both our jobs were excellent and a delight to have in our home - which is really saying something considering that they are in your house disrupting your life! We had a minor problem when the installation was completed and the management made sure that the problem was corrected immediately. Floormasters was an excellent company to do business with and I would use them again for any flooring needs we had.

If i could put a zero for starts i would. THE GM AT THIS STORE IS THE WORST MANAGER, SALES MEN.. EVER.. LOUD, IGNORANT AND MORE. I can not believe that ANYONE WOULD HAVE HIM in that position. I will never buy any flooring there. I have found another place.
