My experience might be unique because I was ordering Ashley furniture through Blackhurst and not getting carpet or anything else they had on hand. The furniture we ordered was on back order from Ashley, but Blackhurst did a bad job at communicating the timeline to us. They said it would be a few weeks, but it ended up close to a few months. We ordered in late September and got the last piece around Christmas time. Blackhurst never gave us updates unless we called or emailed them and specifically asked for updates. Only reason this review is 3 stars instead of lower is because the price through Blackhurst was 15% cheaper than ordering directly through Ashley.

Blackhurst Carpet has been totally outstanding! Besides having a great showroom with plenty of samples, they ordered in additional samples mailed directly to our house, and their service was awesome. They called to coordinate installation schedules, confirmed arrival times and were on top of everything with every step. Highly recommend them as a great company with extremely good customer service.

Overall I am pleased with Blackhurst Carpet. The price was great and everyone was nice. My only complaint is that the installers walked all over my brand new carpet with their dirty shoes.
My situation with Blackhurst is a little interesting. I liked them at first. I picked out my flooring, got my estimate, got it installed. It looked nice. However, a couple months later, one of my water pipes started leaking into the laundry room every time we flushed either of the toilets in our house. I called a plumber to come over (who was NOT cheap), and he pulled out the pipe, which had two holes in it from flooring nails (one of the nails was still in the pipe). The pipe was damaged when the installers from Blackhurts were shooting nails, and over time the holes widened and started leaking. Obviously I called Blackhurst to talk to them about it, and I was shocked by the reply I received. The receptionist was incredibly rude and defensive. The moment I said I needed to file a complaint she actually hung up on me. I had to call back and then -convince- her to do her job and let me talk to someone actually in charge, who, while more polite, basically said the damage wasn't possible because of how sub-floors work. I had the pipe and their nails as evidence, but they didn't want to hear that they'd done something wrong. Basically Blackhurst was good on the surface, but as soon as something goes awry, they're a real b****.

Ordered a bedroom set for daughters birthday. Was told it would be 2 weeks. Sold all her previous furniture and were going on 4 weeks now. No one ever called me, I had to call them. Even then, it still got pushed back. I still don't have the furniture at this point, so you may see a reveiw on that as well.
