last month Several things lead me back to Standale Interiors time and time again. One is that my customers have given me great feed back on Standale Interiors. Knowing my clients are taken care of is important to me. Second is the scheduling. I always get a verification call and "heads up" as to what is happening. Probably the most important thing is the staff. The knowledge that Patty brings to the flooring and counter tops is fantastic. I could not be more pleased with her ideas and selections. Brinda has also just started helping me with cabinets and is doing a great job. Thanks Standale Interiors!

6 months ago The design staff was very friendly and easy to work with. We spent Thousands of dollars on semi custom Haas cabinets and very happy with them at first. After a few months the cabinet doors started to show some raw wood. I called Standale and they told me that was normal and wait a few months to asee if they go back to normal. When they did not I contacted Standale again and since then have been going back and forth between Standale and Haas and still have no answers and have gotten no real help. It has been a year now and I am still trying to get this issue resolved. Don't ever go through Standale they only care about making money and not the customers. I have gotten now where with them. I can't even get anyone to return my calls. Very disappointed with them.

8 months ago We moved recently into a new home and Standale Interiors helped us, beyond our expectations, to complete several projects. In a very short time, we were able to accomplish all of our projects with the help of the staff from Standale Interiors and their subcontractors. Anneke with cabinetry was awesome - thank you. Darci assisted with carpet choices was awesome and very helpful. Randy was a blast to work with and Greg E. you did a beyond fabulous job from beginning to finish installing our tile. Thank you, Greg. Chad, the trim guy that makes wood work melt together in his hands, was a great guy to work with and a talent to boot. Thank you all and thank you Standale Interiors so very much :) Look forward to seeing you down the road.

9 months ago I was initially frustrated with Standale Interiors in the process of ordering a kitchen cabinet part. That changed with a follow up call and speaking to Deb Starett. She understood my complaint and went above and beyond to fix the problem. Thank you Deb and Standale Interiors.

11 months ago Anneke was delightful to work with. She is fairly new to Standale Interiors but knows her stuff. She is very knowledgeable and was helpful every step of the way in the planning, purchase and install of our cabinets for our master bath remodel and new Cambria countertops for our kitchen and bath. She was helpful in answering any questions or concerns, offered great ideas when we asked and encouraged us in our choices. Anneke came out to our home a couple of times during the process and also visited after everything was completed to see how everything turned out. Start to finish she was wonderful to work with.Brent was also very knowledgeable and helpful with our wood flooring and kitchen backsplash tile purchases. He delivered a piece of stair nose trim that had been on back order out to our house the day the installers were finishing up AND brought a wood floor cleaning kit with him to keep our new floors clean. Great customer service.Everyone we had an opportunity to interact with was great. Thank you Standale!

last year My builder recommended one of their sales people (she may have been a designer but I never saw any design) so I paid her a visit. The selection was good and I found my cabinets on my own. What really frustrated me was that the sales person would never return my calls and she did not keep office hours so they never knew where she was or when she'd be in. I wasted an unbelievable amount of time trying to track her down to give her my business and then correcting her mistakes on my order once it was finally placed. And, even after admitting she made a mess of my order, she never once apologized or thanked me for my business. I hate that she made money on me because she didn't deserve a penny of it. I would not recommend and I will not go back.

last year Collaborating with the professional Design Team at Standale Interiors was the best decision we made when building our dream home. The moment we met with them to select our countertops, flooring, paint colors, window treatments, and specialty cabinets we knew our home would be absolutely stunning. Working with our existing soft contemporary design, furniture, and southwest art our Designer helped us create a home that is a timeless beautiful cohesive art-piece that communicates our story! Some designers insist on infusing their personal design but at Standale Interiors they want your personal style to lead and influence the direction, which was important to us. last year The original installers did a very poor job of finishing the trim, but when I called to ask someone to look at it, your company was here immediately with a promise to make it right. They did exactly that, and the finished project could not look more beautiful. The level of craftsmanship that was executed by your carpenter, Steve, was absolutely amazing. He was considerate, meticulous, and thorough. Thank you for keeping your word and for making this project beautiful.

last year When I wrote my review a month ago, I neglected give Standale a five (5) star rating. Let me be clear: Standale is a five (5) star company in every way. Standale provided our floor coverings and cabinets when we moved into our condominium ten years ago. Patty Bylsma, who worked with us, was terrific. We could not have been more satisfied with the product and service. More recently we had a water leak and had to replace some flooring. Again, same experience. I would not hesitate to recommend them to my closest friends.

last year I saved for a long time to remodel my bathroom. I'm very picky, and I knew exactly how I wanted it to look when it was finished. I watch way too much HGTV! I completely gutted the bathroom, so I needed everything. I visited many businesses to look at what they had to offer. I found my counter top for the vanity right away, although the women there tried to talk me out of it. Right away, they were not listening to me. I have a real issue with that! I went to Standale, and started working with Michelle. She is the best, btw! I told her I wanted a bling bathroom. She knew exactly where my brain was going, and we came out with exactly what I wanted. Then I dealt with Mary for my cabinets. She came up with a great idea for my laundry center. I just love all my cabinets, and the laundry center! Again, they actually listened to what I wanted. Their tile guy did an excellent job. Their carpenter that they suggested, also did an excellent job. I must say, I'm very happy with my finished product. I actually enjoy cleaning the bathroom now! When people see my bathroom for the first time, I get the "wow" from everyone. My overall experience was just great. I plan on having them do my new flooring in my kitchen and living room next. Do yourself a favor, and just walk through their showroom. It will give you so many great ideas. All the people there are really friendly and knowledgeable. Again, my experience there was just great, and I made a new friend, Michelle. She is my new sister from another Mother. lol... So, I got a new bathroom and new sister, and I couldn't be happier!!!

last year Our designer, Michelle Cooper, deserves recognition for her exceptional customer service, prompt attention to every detail of our home re-model (which included kitchen flooring, quartz counter top installation, backsplash, family room and living room carpet,and a freshening up of three bathrooms). It is obvious that this group of people work as a team in the best interest of the customer. Every contractor they sent to our home gave exceptional service with outstanding results. We are so happy with the final outcome!

last year We decided to go with them for cabinets and counter tops in our new home. We are currently waiting for some cabinet doors/drawers to be replaced. Our counter top arrived damaged and without the needed hardware to mount the dishwasher. We gave them the specs for our appliances when we ordered everything. Our fridge also did not fit the cabinet opening so that had to be modified after all the cabinets were already installed. We are still not able to use our new dish washer almost a month after install. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable just not very happy with their service so far. Hoping everything gets taken care of soon.
last year While I'm happy to hear you were satisfied with the staff, Randy, I'd like to apologize for the areas we fell short with your service. It's completely understandable why you're frustrated. Thanks for your feedback, and I immediately looked into what happened. From our records, we designed the cabinet package around the builder’s measurements, but the appliances were purchased prior to completion. When the package was installed, we discovered the new dishwasher was actually a top mount and the cabinet tops were not fabricated for that application. There were also some manufacturing issues with the cabinet door finish quality, and new material should be in this week. Unfortunately, the holidays caused some delays. We’re currently repairing the door finishes and will make further adjustments to install the dishwasher as well. 2 years ago First let me say the staff was friendly, however the communication at Standle Interiors is absolutely horrible. They had to send the estimator out 2 times to get an accurate quote, as the specifications of the job were not correctly given to him the first time he came out. It took weeks and multiple emails/calls to get both the estimate and the install appointments set up correctly. We were having 4 rooms done at our house, so we moved all the furniture, etc. On the day of the install, the installer showed up an hour late, took a look at the job and said " this is way too much for me to do alone". He took off about 10 minutes later. We received a call later that day to re-schedule. By that time we were pretty fed up with the whole process, so we just canceled the install, received a refund and bought our flooring elsewhere. The next place we looked was significantly less expensive as well.
2 years ago In our attempt to install a job earlier than our schedule would allow, we disappointed the Kohls by not being able to deliver. We offered another date for the following week which didn't work for them. We apologized and refunded their deposit within one business day.

3 years ago I have visited this store three times, last time was this past Friday. On each of those visits NO sales person asked if I had any questions, could they help, etc.... On Friday I passed by two sets of employees talking with each other and NEVER once did they acknowledge my presence. One of the women did look up at me and continued to talk with her co-worker. The conversations did not appear to be of a critical value, that stopping briefly would have been an inconvenience. As I was leaving through the carpet/tile area, I walked by another employee who did NOT look up to ask!! I was dressed appropriately, smiling and had I it been any other store, I would have been treated in a MUCH more friendly manner!!

First I must apologize for the staff’s inattention to YOU and your effort to shop at Standale Interiors. Believe me, that is not the norm. It is such a fine balance between giving customers space and hovering. Our norm is to greet you at least with a “Hello, thanks for stopping today. What brought you in?” and letting you know coffee, cookies and water are available. You are giving us the opportunity to fix an unacceptable situation and make this a learning/educational situation for the staff. Thank you again for bringing this to our attention.

3 years ago Great place! �I am building my first home and the lady's here were a huge help! Lots of flooring and cabinet samples in one place so you can see things together without needing to run from store to store. �It is a nice quiet environment and I frequently would have a large table all to my self to lay out samples and discuss my choices. �The designers were always willing to help even if I was not their client and would get prices and instillation information on products quickly. �I would recommend this place to anyone building or renovating.

3 years ago Lol....I'll call this " The Blind Lady " About 3 years ago, I went to standale interiors looking for some blinds for my walkout. I also had some others that needed fixing. I had bought them there years ago. I went to the desk after nobody waited on me for several minutes and they paged the lady. I've never seen a more clueless person in my life. She could not find anything. She had no clue what kind of blinds I had even though I had a clip that needed to be replaced . She was going through boxes, looking around for books. She couldn't find a thing. After about 20 minutes of this, I told her I had to leave. Two years later, I go there with the same issue. NO, I hadn't fixed my blinds, but bought some others from another store. Anyway, I decide I'll try again to fix this one set of blinds. I get the same lady and she still can't find anything!! �ITS UNREAL! �I wait for 30 minutes while she ponders where all her stuff is. She says they just moved and everything is upset......that's what she had told me 2 years ago! finally I say I can't wait any longer.. � SHE SAYS, oh you're in a hurry?? � Lol.... I left and never returned ......don't bother waiting to get waited on, it's not worth it! SKIP this place!

3 years ago Several weeks ago I began looking for flooring for my kitchen and dining area and since I had not had to purchase flooring for several years, I asked a few friends to recommend some places. Standale was one of the recommended places. I entered the business about 10:30 on a Weds. morning. There was a woman helping a gentleman with flooring choices. I believe he must have been building a house and choosing flooring for the whole thing. The sales woman did not greet me and did not ask if I wanted help or offer to get someone to help me. I know she saw me when I came in because she looked up from her samples when I walked in. Since I was there I decided to wander through the selection and see what was available. After about 15 minutes another woman came out from the back of the building and asked if I wanted help. I told her what I wanted to replace and asked what my options were. She did answer my questions. I told her that I was just starting my search and getting educated about my options. I had other stores to visit and did not go back to Standale. I understand they are very good, but being ignored left a bad taste in my mouth.
3 years ago Business Owner Terri, There is no excuses for this and we certainly appreciate you bringing it to our attention. It is our policy to excuse ourselves from a client to acknowledge someone new coming in and to either get someone to assist them or let them know we will be with them shortly. �The fact that we didn't do that in this instance resulted in two things--a lost customer and a bad review. �We can only say that this is not typical for us and, hopefully the fact that we have been conducting business successfully for over 62 years substantiates that.

8 years ago I called the Grandville Store for an estiment for a new window. They told me that it would be $45.00 for the estiment, they came out the same day. After one month they called with the estiment for glass only! I told them and showed them my sash was rotted out at the time that they were here! They told me( after the month was over) oh you will have to call someone else, I didn't write that down!!! So what did I get for my $45.00 nothing!!!
