8 months ago Where to begin? �On New Years Day, my husband and I went to House of Carpets. We were pleased to find out that they were open. �We were greeted by a nice, young man and told him that we had been thinking about putting tile ornamentation in our kitchen. We asked when he could come measure and give us an estimate. He eagerly said he could come that afternoon! �We were very pleased and set up a time for 2:00. �He wrote this on his business card. He never showed up. My husband waited until 3:30 and called the man back. �The man said he had "spaced it off," and thought it was the next day, though he had clearly written the time down on his card. �My husband then set up a time for the next day "at 1:00" �At 9:00, the man calls and says, "We're meeting at 1000, right?" �My husband had to correct him. �He eventually showed up, measured, and was going to email an estimate, which he never did. �I called him to follow up on the estimate and he promised me he'd have it to me by the end of the day. While talking, I indicated that I wanted more extensive work and we made an appointment for that coming Saturday. He said he lived close to me and �could come over. �I was happy about that and gave him my cell phone number. �I left it that he was to call me before coming over. �You might know what happened. �He never called and after several hours waiting for his call, I gave up and left the house as I had errands to run. �On Monday, he called and said he had come over. �He seemed quite disoriented as to time and place. �Meanwhile, I had contacted another business. That company sent someone over promptly. �I ordered...get this...not just new tile for the entire kitchen, but flooring as well at a great expense. �But well worth it for professional people that keep their word. I will never go to House of Carpet again. �The man there seems very true to his word, "spaced out." �He spaced us off and lost out on $15,000 or more of business.

last year My kitchen vynil was replaced after ONE YEAR of complaining. Thanks God!

last year We built a new house in 2010. Within 2 years our carpet was being pulled from the backing. All House of Carpets said they could do was have someone come out and stretch it as the manufacturer would most likely do nothing. They came out and stretched the carpet and within 1 tear it was in the same condition. They do not stand behind their products and the warranty is a joke. Will never recommend this carpet store as now 5 years later we are already having to replace that carpet.

last year I worked with James Nelson on picking out new flooring when my house burned down. I was very pleased with the customer service. He really helped me find exactly what I was looking for on flooring for my entire house.
