We remodeled our home two years ago and contracted Gunn Flooring to do our floors throughout the house. Once laid ,we shared concern with Dino that there were ripples in places. He assured us it would lay flat in the next Two days. It’s been two years, dozens of phone calls and a visit from the manufacturer who determined it was the installation not the product that was defective. When we hired an attorney to settle the issue, he wrote Gunn’s a letter but he notified us that, after research, the Gunns are notorious for not being reputable and don’t even pay their taxes. We were squeezing blood out of a turnip. Don’t waste your time or money on Gunn’s Flooring. You don’t deserve the disappointment!!!

Completely unprofessional. After several months of chasing down Dino Gunn for estimates and dozens of unreturned phone calls and texts, we stopped by his shop on Neal Hawkins; spoke to an elderly man behind a desk. When we told him of the lack of responsiveness by Dino, his response was, "doesn't surprise me!"
If we hadn't waited five months for the job to be done while constantly calling and texting I'd write a better review because the floors look great. Dino is currently managing Gunn Flooring and clearly is not living the legacy his father put into place. It took months to finally get the project done after dozens of calls and texts that went unanswered. The only way I think we finally got the work done is by calling and texting his father who has much better customer service. His voicemail is almost always full and even if you can leave a message he won't call you back. Texts also go unanswered unless it's something he is needed/asking. Our stairs were left bare for months as we waited for carpet to come in. Then when it finally did, it was the wrong size. We waited again with no updates and finally someone took sometime to track things down. They seems too busy with their big jobs at the Phillip Morris plant to worry about residential business. We had just purchased the home and all of the excitement of a new house was deflated as we waited and waited for the job to be done. The real error could be on our side since the job was paid for before it was finished. We still have a piece of trim that needs to be replaced on our steps but I'm sure we will never hear from them again. They do great work when they actually have time for you.
Cant seem to return calls for business..
I have been doing business with Gunn Flooring for 25 years. This is a professional approach to all things related to Hardwood flooring. They are competitive (not the least expensive) but you get what you pay for in this market. They are clean customer friendly and provide excellent quaility craftsmanship. Never disappointed.

Gunn Flooring installed a solid hickory pre-finished hardwood throughout my whole house with the exception of 3 bathrooms, kitchen and laundry room. This project started the first week in February 2015. They did not acclimate the wood properly and now my house has cupping, cracked and split boards. Their failure to properly acclimate the wood before starting has voided my warranty on all the improperly installed boards( which are many). What was supposed to take 6-7 days, took over 6 weeks. They claim I have a moisture problem ( but have never come to prove it). My crawl space is 100% covered by 6 mil plastic and I have an Atmox system in place ( Atmox.com) that regulates relative humidity and dew point. Since being paid in full, he has never returned to my home, answered any text messages or phone calls - to his cell or the store. Having to click on one star was painful because my experience was not worth any stars.
