I’ve bought bought several items from Economy over the past couple months for my house renovation. The products are great. The customer service on the other hand was awful. You usually have to hunt someone down to get any help. Today, we didn’t have to but the one who did help us, Jennifer, is the reason I will not be purchasing anything from there going forward. Very rude and acted like we had no clue what we were talking about.

I have used Economy Carpets several times within a couple of years for carpet and engineered flooring and recently ceramic; I would consider myself a good customer; Had a bad experience with a recent ceramic installation. The job was not done correctly and they re-done a few of the misplaced ceramic tiles. Now the tiles are un-even in areas and there are gaps between the tiles and the wall= no grout was applied. I had the tiles layed diagonally and the corner of one tile was just cut off and they laid the mis-cut tile anyway. They left the cut pieces of the tile scrap laying on my carport, leaving myself to clean up after them. I paid them in full before they attempted to correct the install; Now when I go and express my dissatisfaction with the job; I am told they don't remember since its been 2 weeks since the install. I told them I was disappointed with the service and told them any future purchases I make for flooring would not be from them. Instead of the "I am sorry, what can we do to help earn you back as a customer". They said o.k
Had carpet installed in my living room. One room that is about 14 ft by 17 ft. We removed all the furniture and even the previous carpet and padding. The price was right, so we were happy to get new carpet for this one room. I would have given them a great review at this point. But then, three months later, the carpet begins tearing away from the metal trim. This trim is located near our front door, it is where the carpet meets our wood floor entry. I call the owner of Economy Carpets and he assures me that they stand by their work and the carpet will be repaired. It has now been over two months, four phone calls, and he still says that it will be repaired, "when they are able to put us on the schedule." He even told me that I needed to be patient. I reminded him that waiting as long as I have waited seems to me that I have been very patient. Please be warned! If you have any problems with the floors they have installed- they will put you off for months. I am still waiting and hoping to get my carpet repaired. I regret using this company!

I really didn't know what I wanted but the salesman talked with me until I found out what it was. He gave me a sample and said bring it back when I was in the area. Thanks
